Tuesday Night Football: Ibrahimovic Faces Off With Lukaku, Man city and Arsenal Win Big

  • Milan Derby Face off Tuesday night was a tough one.
  • Manchester City takes the lead on premier league table
  • Arsenal were impressive against Southampton

Inter Milan has advanced to the next stage of the Copa Italia, the semi finals to be precise after a wonderful 90 minutes performance.

The match was though tough as expected, as both Romelu Lukaku and Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored for their teams respectively. The former Manchester United teammates then became enmeshed in a tense rift which simmered to boiling point at half time, with Lukaku and Ibrahimovic being dragged away by teammates as they headed for the dressing room to prevent physical altercation.

Ibrahimovic was ultimately dismissed midway into the second half for a second bookable offence, before the keenly contested match was settled by a superb 97th minute free kick by Christian Eriksen.

Manchester City vs West Bromwich

A very exciting match as goals poured in from Ilkay Gundogan, Joao Cancelo, Raheem Sterling and Riyadh Mahrez.

Manchester City are now top of the premier league table after their comfortable 5-0 win over West Bromwich Albion. The Cityzens are now contenders to win the premier league following a 7-game winning streak in England’s Premier Football Division.

Arsenal vs Southampton

Arsenal and Southampton played out a 1-1 stalemate in their first meeting in the 2020/21 season.

They met again in the FA Cup on January 23, 2021, this time it was Southampton who edged the defending Champions to book a place in the fifth round of the competition.

Both sides met again at St. Marys on Tuesday night as Arsenal produced a sensational comeback without talismanic skipper, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to sink Ralph Hassenhutl’s men.

Goals from Saka, Pepe and Lacazette saw Arsenal go home with all three points.
