‘She Left An Indelible Mark’ – Hon. Wale Raji Mourns Iyaloja-General Of Epe

The Lawmaker representing Epe Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Hon. Wale Raji, has described the late Iyaloja of Epe Division, Alhaja Mulikat Onibon, as an exceptional and exemplary character who worked beyond the call of duty.

The lawmaker spoke yesterday 25th February 2021 when paid his last respect to the illustrious leader and also condoled with her family.

Alhaja Mulikat died on the 24th of February and was interred the next day at Alhaji Onibon residence, Agbala, Epe Lagos State according to Islamic rite.

Raji joined hundreds of sympathizers and mourners at the First Epe Central Mosque, Oke-Balogun for a retreat hosted by the body of retired Permanent Secretaries in Lagos State..

Speaking with Ekohotblog after the Solatul janaza prayers performed for the deceased at Oke-Balogun, Epe, Wale Raji was immensely thankful to Almighty Allah for the good life Alhaja Onibon lived, stressing that she left indelible marks in her chosen field.

According to the MHR, a mother, no matter how old would want to be seen around by her children. In his assessment of the illustrious children she left behind, the MHR, noted that the Iyaloja-General invested sufficiently in her children with the blessings of Almighty God playing an important role.

” I came to pay my condolences because she was a mother to me also.However old a person may be, you’ll want to have her around forever.

We thank God that she lived a good life. In her field, she left a mark. When you want to assess a person, you will want to look at his or her children. She invested well in her children and to the glory of God, her efforts were blessed “, the MHR stated.
