Yoruba Actress and Brand ambassador, Oluwaseyi Ariyo, popularly known as “Shebaby”, has come out to ask for help from Nigerians.

In a video which she posted on her official Instagram account, the actress can be seen crying while speaking Yoruba language.

 

According to her, she has been accused of trying to soil the image of the Yoruba culture. This accusation came as a result of a scene in one of her latest movies, “Asiri Pepe”.

A particular scene in the movie involved a masquerade sleeping with a woman which is a taboo to most Yoruba cultures.

According to her narration, someone has leaked the video to traditionalists and out of rage, they said she will die in seven days. The actress is now pleading with Nigerians to come to her aid.

 

She defended herself from the accusations, stressing that she would never look down on her heritage and culture, EKO HOT BLOG  gathered.
