Man confesses to killing journalist, Tordue Salem
The missing journalist was found dead in Abuja on Thursday, November 11.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that one Itoro Clement, a hit-and-run driver, has confessed to killing the missing Vanguard reporter, Tordue Salem.
Ekohotblog recalls that Salem was declared missing since October 13.
The missing journalist was found dead in Abuja on Thursday, November 11, an evening after he went missing on Wednesday, 13th October 2021.
Parading the suspect on Friday at the IRT premises in Abuja, Itoro said he hit Salem at the Mabushi area on October 13 and sped off.
In another report, a 10-year-old boy has been found guilty of the offence of culpable homicide after he killed and buried his 3-year-old nephew in a shallow grave in Gumel Local Government Area of Jigawa state.
Honourable Justice A. M. Sambo of the Jigawa State High Court sitting in Gumel, said the offence is contrary to Section 221(b) of the Penal Code Law of the State.
The prosecution led evidence and established the fact that the defendant took his 3-year-old nephew (name withheld) from his grandmother’s house to his mother’s home.
