8th-Day Fidau for Alhaji Rabiu Olusesi Dawodu Eko Club Int’l mourns
EKO HOT BLOG reports that following the sudden death of Alhaji Olusesi (Ina Otowo) Dawodu, Eko Club International, Eko Club Florida, and the family of the deceased have announced the 8-day Fidau prayer.
Alhaji Olusesi Dawodu, a founding member of Eko Club Florida, passed away at 75 on Thursday, December 9, 2021 and has been buried according to Islamic rites.
The 8th-day Fidau prayer, an Islamic rite, for late Dawodu as announced by the family will be held on Thursday, Dec 16th 2021 at the family house, at 90, Okepopo Street Lagos Island, Lagos.
Time 2:00 pm prompt.
Eko Club Florida will also have a Fidau prayer in Miami, Florida, on Sunday, Dec 19th 2021.
Members of the Eko Club international have condoled their founding member Alhaji Rabiu Olusesi (ina otowo) Dawodu over the death.
The president emeritus Eko Club Int’l, Attorney OJ Lawal, in his statement made available to EKO HOT BLOG on Tuesday described his exit as an irreparable loss to the ECI Family.
Lawal described him as a forthright man, an administrator of uncommon excellence, whose love and commitment to the development of Eko Club International and Lagos State was well documented.
A former president of EKO Club International, and Publisher of EKO HOT BLOG, Otunba T J Abass said he will be missed.
According to him, “Alhaji Olusesi was an exemplary leader. He embraced life to the fullest. He had a great life, and he has graduated from the university of life with distinction. He loved Eko Club International with a passion and will be greatly missed.”
President, Eko Club Florida, Alhaji Teslim Olarinde, said that the deceased was a blessing to the ECI and to Lagosians. He described him as credible in all things.
in his message, President, Eko Club International, Alhaji Saheed Olushi, described the late Dawodu as a sage, and administrator who served this country meritoriously.
Alhaji Dawodu was a founding member of Eko Club Florida and the first President of Eko Club Florida. He was the first elected President, Eko Club International. He is survived by his wife Adenike Dawodu (Iya Jemi), His children and Grandchildren.
