EKO HOT BLOG reports that the latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 250,009 COVID-19 cases.
In its latest case update dated January 13, the NCDC reports 423 new cases with no COVID-related deaths.

The new cases were reported in 17 states – Lagos-120, Rivers-118, Anambra-38, FCT-32, Gombe-31, Kaduna-21, Oyo-14, Benue-11, Cross River-10, Kwara-9, Borno-5, Kano-5, Bauchi-3, Jigawa-3, Abia-1, Ogun-1 and Sokoto-1.
According to the NCDC, no case was recorded in Plateau, Katsina and Sokoto States.
It was gathered that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 221,203 cases have been discharged while the death toll has risen to 3,092.
