EKO HOT BLOG reports that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has released socialite and club owner, Paschal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest.

Nigerian singer, Davido announced the release of Celebrity Barman, Cubana Chief Priest from EFCC custody.

This online media platform recalls that Okechukwu was arrested last week in Abuja by EFCC operatives. He has since been in detention facing interrogation over money laundering and tax fraud charges.

It was gathered that the commission had sent several invitations to him which he kept ignoring.

Although it is currently unclear if he will be invited again, the socialite is now a free man as he was released by the commission on Monday evening.

However, the news of his freedom was made known by Davido, who hopped on Instagram to reveal that his Bestie, Cubana Chief Priest is no longer in EFCC custody.

He spent 5 days in detention.
