• Several people have been killed after gunmen launched a fresh attack in Bauchi Community.

• The gunmen also whisked away one person in the process leaving the community in total confusion.

• A resident of the community who craved anonymity told journalists that the gunmen stormed the area on Saturday night.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that no fewer than five people have been killed after gunmen invaded the Gambar Sabon Layi community in the Tafawa Balewa Local Government Area of Bauchi State.

It was gathered that the gunmen also whisked away one person in the process leaving the community in total confusion.

A resident of the community who craved anonymity told journalists that the gunmen stormed the area on Saturday night and shot sporadically into the air to scare residents away before carrying out their nefarious act.

He said that the assailants kidnapped one Mr Daniel and killed the hamlet head of the area while four others were also killed in the process.

Another resident of the area, Manasseh Danladi, also confirmed the incident.
He said, “Yes, the incident is true.
