EKO HOT BLOG reports that Yaya Toure’s former agent, Dimitry Seluk, has denied allegations of secret payments made to the Ivorian midfielder during his time at Manchester City.

This denial comes after the Premier League accused the club of over 100 counts of misconduct.

In an interview with The Guardian, Seluk stated that all of his client’s dealings were transparent and that he and Yaya Toure paid all necessary taxes.

Seluk also offered to provide the same information to the independent commission that is investigating the charges.

Seluk’s relationship with Manchester City and its fans has been strained in the past, particularly after he placed a UEFA Champions League curse on Pep Guardiola’s side and declared that the Spanish manager had “turned all of Africa against himself” with his treatment of Yaya Toure in his later years with the club.

Despite the recent accusations against Manchester City, Seluk has taken a surprising stance by coming to the club’s aid and denying any wrongdoing as far as he and his former client are concerned.

This stance contrasts with the highly publicized conflicts he has had with the club and its fanbase in the past, such as the infamous birthday cake saga.

It remains to be seen what the outcome of the Premier League’s investigation will be, but for now, Seluk has made it clear that there will be no further altercations with him, at least in relation to this case.
